How OmegaVault captures conversation context from ChatGPT.

Requirements

• ChatGPT Plus/Team or API access
• OmegaVault account, MCP connection from the MCP guide
• Capture enabled for the ChatGPT connector

Setup

1. Connect ChatGPT via MCP. Follow the ChatGPT MCP setup. AI context capture works on top of the same connection.
2. Enable capture for ChatGPT. In Settings → Connectors → ChatGPT, toggle Capture conversations.
3. Pick what gets captured. You can capture every message, only flagged ones, or only the final responses. The default is final responses only — it keeps your vault clean.
4. Review captured memories. Captured ChatGPT context shows up in the Capture feed with source = ChatGPT. Edit, tag, or delete anything you don't want.
